PITCH PERFECT…

In my most recent course, I was given the challenge to create a business plan pitch for my company. After, dong hours of research I found Filmescape.com.  A site focuses on a simple approach to understanding the entertainment industry. They believe that what is most important asset you need to succeed in the entertainment business is a thorough understanding how it all works. When creating a professional pitch for your future film or project. It is important to aim for simplicity and clarity. This is the point where you paint a visual picture for your investors mind. Use stunning visuals and odd words; intriguing photos inspire while capturing the attention of people emotionally. Addressing your target audience is key, though it’s your pitch, ideas, and heart desires. Focusing on the investors wants is what will seal the deal. Even if that means doing outside research on your investors, its very important to always stay three steps of the investors; leave no room for error.

Filmescape.com is great at providing information on general aspects of the industry; creating footage movies, how to write a screen play, knowledge in the fields of film, television, and writing, in addition to round table discussions with individuals whom are currently working in the industry; such as directors, writers, producers and actors. I believe this site will be very beneficial to up an coming artists entering the entertainment world. Unfortunately, the site does not offer that much financing opportunity, though it definitely provides information as to how to go about retrieving this information.

I do not know about you, but when I am visiting a website, I like things to be accessible, clear, and direct. That is what this site provides, everything is user friendly and easy to find. What stood out to me to was not only the structure of the website but the content. I suggest, that if one is in need of some guidance in a particular field of the world of entertainment, filmscape.com will definitely cater to ones needs.
